BMW
In 2009 C&H Maastricht signed a market research contract to investigate the Chinese market of
manufacturers of components for a new assembly line in China.
C&H Maastricht started the market research in October 2009 and the deadline was March 2010. By
the middle of February 2010 presented BMW a report of several manufacturers that later supplied
key parts for the new production line.
TBM
TBM is a Chinese manufacturer of hoisting equipment and crane systems that had the
intention to enter the European market.
C&H Maastricht signed a market research and market introduction contract to research the
markets of hoisting equipment and crane systems in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and
France.
The result at the end of the contract period was that TBM delivered the first test units to new
business partners and some European companies had visited the TBM factory.
After the contract period C&H Maastricht kept on working for TBM on a free lance basis.
This to guard the development of the new business relationships and help overcome cultural
differences.
Riqian
Riqian is a Chinese manufacturer of logistics equipment made of wire or mesh panels.
In 2009 Riqian wanted to participate in the SIL Barcelona exhibition and C&H Maastricht
investigated the Spanish market for distributors.
C&H Maastricht made personal appointments with potential Spanish business partners and the
management of Riqian on the exhibition. Every day of the exhibition Riqian knew in advance
how many potential new business partners were going to visit them.
After the successful exhibition in Barcelona Riqian and C&H Maastricht signed a marketing
contract for the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to find distributors of logistics equipment.
C&H Maastricht researched the market in these countries and potential business partners were
visited by the management of Riqian and a staff member of C&H Maastricht.
In the months after these visits Riqian received several inquiries from their new European
business partners for an amount of over €uro 3 million.
CIMC
In August 2007 C&H Maastricht and CIMC signed a market research contract for 12 months to
investigate the market of containers for the automotive industry in Europe.
The response of the automotive industry was very positive and CIMC received several
invitations to make an offer for various inquiries.
The result of the market research was that CIMC received its first major orders at the end of
2008 from BMW in Germany and GM in the UK, Belgium, Spain and Poland.
After the contract ended CIMC still receives inquiries and orders, from the C&H Maastricht
market research, up until 2010.
Kanoria Petro Products Ltd. New Delhi, India
In 2000 C&H Maastricht was contacted by Kanoria Petro Products. Kanoria intended to expand
their range of chemical products and were looking for European manufacturers. At the end of
2000 C&H Maastricht and Kanoria signed a 2 year contact to investigate the market of
chemicals producers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany and France.
A selection of the companies from the C&H Maastricht research were visited. These visits lead
to new business partners for Kanoria that could provide chemicals for import into India.
Kanoria Petro Products Ltd. P.R. China
In the beginning of 2002 Kanoria Petro Products requested the assistance of C&H Maastricht
to set up a subsidiary in Shanghai. The Chinese office of C&H Maastricht was able to assist in
the finding of office space, application for telephone- and fax lines, office furniture, bi-lingual
staff, etc.
The complete administrative procedure to start a subsidiary, application for licenses and other
official and legal documents was executed in co operation with Anderson in Shanghai.
At the end of 2002 the subsidiary was up and running and the contract ended.
G-DOK Industries Co. Ltd. Seoul, South Korea
G-Dok is one of the largest manufactures of specialized casters in Asia with production
facilities in South Korea and P.R. China.
In 1997 C&H Maastricht and G-Dok signed a marketing contract for the research and
introduction of specialized "leveling casters" and "shock absorbing casters" on several
European countries.
C&H Maastricht researched the markets leading to the appointment of distributors. C&H
Maastricht also assisted G-Dok and the distributors in the start up phase of their new business
relationship.
Through the years G-Dok participated in several material handling exhibitions for which C&H
Maastricht is the agent in the USA, Japan, Argentina, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the
Netherlands. Participating in these exhibition has seriously contributed to the successful
conquering of the market for specialized casters.
The business relationship between C&H Maastricht and G-Dok Industries started in 1997 and
in 2010 we still co operate on marketing matters and participation in exhibitions.
